Pixies - Where is my mind?

Esta quinta-feira, os Pixies tocam no Pavilhão Atlântico.

É o mesmo que perguntar se os ursos são católicos ou se o Papa caga no bosque... (ou ao contrário, agora não tenho bem a certeza).
Aqui fica, pela terceira vez, uma música deles (e o Frank Black pela quearta vez...). Ouvi este tema pela primeira vez em 1999/2000, quando vi o Fight Club no cinema. Depois de uma banda sonora toda electrónica e urgente (e muito boa, diga-se) a cargo dos Dust Brothers, o filme acaba com este tema, um excelente contraste pela sua melodia simples de guitarra, os "ooh-oooohs" da Kim e o ritmo descontraído.
Reflecte, mais uma vez, o interesse do nosso menino vocalista/letrista no mar - ele estudou biologia marinha na universidade e lançou temas como "wave of mutilation", "manta ray", etc. - e em melodias simples mas terrivelmente eficazes.
