The Breeders - Cannonball

Uma pseudo-mega-banda, formada por Kim Deal dos Pixies e Tanya Donnelly dos Throwing Muses enquanto ambas as bandas ainda eram activas. Depois de ambas implodirem, começaram a prestar mais atenção a este projecto, e Kim meteu a sua irmã gémea Kelly na banda para tocar guitarra (yay!)

Este tema, cannonball, foi lançado em 1993 e tornou-se rapidamente no tema mais conhecido da banda. Deu também a Kim uma coisa que lhe faltou imenso no tempo dos Pixies: di-nhei-ro (uma vez que recebia muito pouco nas tournées e não havia escrito grande parte das canções, por isso recebia também poucos royalties das mesmas).

O vídeo recorre a todos os truquezinhos típicos dos 90s, encontrando-se hoje algo datado. É pena. Mas a música continua fresquíssima.
